Ruth Moilliets Cow Parsley lamp

Ruth Moilliet has just bought a Tall Cow Parsley lamp from the Platform Gallery Winter Lux exhibition and she just posted a photo of it in her house. I'm chuffed because I LOVE Ruths work. She is a sculptor who is inspired by many of the same forms that I am. She makes huge stunning Alliums and Seed Heads from metal. I hope you'll have a look at her website.

Jills Dandelion lamp

I love it when the internet makes random connections. Jill Hodgson who now lives in the U.S was searching online for her friend from art college in the 70's. I had mentioned him on my blog as he is my friendly electrician who wired Radiance up from top to bottom. So she found her friend but also found my blog! :) It's a shame that Jill came to the shop while I was away in Japan and I missed her but she bought a lamp and sent me a photo of it in her home. How nice!

Baby Amélie's fairy lights

These fairy lights were bought as a present for new baby Amélie in Switzerland.

Don't they make her nursery look cosy.

Tejals candle cover

A little while ago i had a lovely visit from a young women from India. She and her friend had been researching making paper lighting and had come across my work online and been really inspired by it. When she came to study at York University she was very happy to discover that my shop was quite close by and decided she was going to come and meet me in person.  It was really nice to meet her and we had a lovely chat and a cup of tea. I gave her one of my prototype candle covers because she was so sweet. She just sent me a photo.
